That’s why I want to go over some general benefits of being active on social media, and the specific benefits of being active on different channels. Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube - all of these can be of great help to real estate investors.
Social media channels give you the best playfield to show off what your business is all about. People who find you by chance, potential clients, sellers, and possible partners, anyone can see what you post. Real estate investors need to take advantage of this and consistently post content related to what they do. It can be showing off a property you just got, or explaining how your latest deal went. As long as you stay consistent, you will build a brand image and a following will start to form
As mentioned before, anyone can see what you post! Investors need to use that in their favour and engage with the different people they come across with. Being active in other people’s posts, showing interest, and sending a private message are great ways to start a relationship. And through its odd humour and trends, TikTok content can sky-rocket a business account’s popularity regardless of its focus.
As the second-largest search engine in the world, Youtube is an ideal platform for sharing educational and informative content. Real estate investors can create videos that provide insights into the industry, share tips and best practices, and talk about their services. The platform offers different advertisement formats - helping you reach a wider audience or taking viewers directly to your website.
To make the most of social media, investors need to develop a clear strategy that aligns with their objectives. Creating a content calendar is a great way to do this, but remember that defining your target audience is your first step.
Setting yourself specific goals and metrics is also essential, as it give you direction on where you want your business to go. By taking a strategic approach to social media, you can more efficiently use these platforms to reach your goals.
